two shitty things

two shitty things happened at work today:
1. our stinky drunk regular came in and pooped all over our bathroom and then walked through his own waste and tracked it all throughout the store. we had to shut down the cafe for an hour so we could do a deep clean.
2. after cleaning the poop, me and a coworker got laid off.
That is, most definitely, shitty. Very to hear it. Sincerely.
Got any backup/next step plans?
no, they didn’t give me any notice so i didn’t have a back up plan. i do have a few leads on some other cafe jobs. but it’s still a major downer. not a good time to be job searching.
